I have learned how much damage we inflict on our bodies and souls with the everyday contaminates and stress. This is how I came to start Covington Creek Candle Company. I started making 100% soy candles first for myself and then for my co-workers. Pretty soon the patients would hear talk of my candles and how clean they are to burn with the 100% cotton wicks and essential oils that I can do. The patients started buying them from me. This lead to craft shows and then a farmers market where my product caught the eye of the local food co-op. I strive to use the best product I can find. I buy as much USDA organic as I can find. I check out the companies to make sure they are buying from growers that are responsible in cultivating and sustaining the earth and the wildlife. I take living green very seriously and practice it in my own life. You can rest assured that I will get you the best products I can to contribute to your well-being. By each of us practicing this we can live a life a little healthier and with a little less stress. I have remained a home based business, which means everything is done with loving care. It is my hope to gain enough business that I can put to work some of my friends who have lost their jobs. Quality and care would and will remain our priority.
PayPal is preferred method of payment and expected at time of order. I also accept other credit cards now!
Personal checks are also accepted. Order will not be shipped until check has been received and has cleared.
I try to ship within 3 business days of receiving your order. If there is a question about your order this could cause a delay. If you need it by a specific date, please let me know.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please let us know! We want our creations to be in happy homes. We are willing to work with you to ensure a great transaction and satisfaction. If you receive an item damaged you must send me a photo of the damaged item and packaging.
Buyer pays the shipping costs on the return item and is responsible for its secure delivery back to me. Money will not be refunded until the item has been (safely) received by me.
Shipping: Rates shown are for the most expensive rate within the continental United States from Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will be refuned any overcharge. If you would like exact shipping charges please email me for special listing. Include the products you would like and you zip code. I will email you the price of products and shipping before posting the reserve for you. Rates do include a tracking number. If you have a preferred shipping method, please let me know at checkout.
All items are packed with care. It is very important to me that your order arrives safely and swiftly. If you do receive a damaged product I do require a picture of the product and the damaged box be sent to me to determine replacing or refunding.
I ship using USPS Priority Mail or UPS. Items are usually shipped within3-5 business days after payment is received. During Christmas holiday season it may take a little longer. I carefully package all items to ensure they arrive safely. However, it is always best to have shipping insurance in case of breakage, loss or damage. Insurance is optional but highly recommended on individual jar candle purchases and other orders as well. Contact me to arrange to pay for insurance before you make your purchase! ($1.70 for orders up to $50.00)

To get the best burn time on any candle burn no longer than 3-4 hours.
Light the wick with a spagetti stick (yes it's ok to light the stick with a lighter or match). This avoids that black ring from the petro in the lighter or sout from the wooden match. Plus you can reach deep into those tall candle jars.
Do not leave burning candles unattended. Do not leave burning candles or the glass containers within a childs or pets reach.
Do not use the lid to estinguish the flame.
As with all things in life some people may find a allergic reaction to an ingreadient in the candles, lotions, soaps and lip balm. I do take care in chosing the ingredients that I use and post them in product information. The only exception is the votives that have botanicals added at the manufacturers to give a firmness of the product. If you have any allergies to botanicals please use this product with care. So far no one has had a reaction but if you do you do have an allergic reaction to any products (mine or someone elses) stop using the product and seek medical attention. I, nor this business, are responsible for any costs accrued by you.
