USDA Organic Essential oils include:

Citrus Basil - This scent is a combination of gragefruit, orange, and basil. Basil is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and is useful as an insect repellent. You also get the benefit of the grapefruit and orange.

Coconut

Grapefruit - Grapefruit has a fresh, clean, uplifting aroma. It is wonderfully uplifting and within aromatherapy work, it is used to help treat mood swings, anger, depression and stress.

Lavender - Lavender is traditionally used to help relax and relieve stress, relieve headaches, help reduce high blood pressure and heal burns and wounds. It kills germs and helps to reduce the spread of colds and viruses. Lavender is the safest oil to use for babies and children, but of it must be used only within a low, safe dilution within your baby and childcare formulations. Please let me know if this scent is to be used on children or babies and I will make it to the correct strength. Avoid if you have low blood pressure.

Lavender Chamomile - antibacterial, healing and antistress

Lavender Vanilla

Lemon - Refreshing scent. Possesses strong germicidal disinfectant properties.

Orange - is an uplifting, refreshing oil that relieves stress, and helps to sooth headaches.

Orange Mint - is an uplifting, refreshing oil that relieves stress, and helps to sooth headaches. You also get the benefits of mint.

Patchouli - . Patchouli helps to tighten the pores of the skin and is used to combat wrinkles. It regulates oily skin, treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, sores and burns.

Peppermint - Can help relieve headache, reduce mental fatigue, increase and help maintain alertness, relieve itching. It repels insects effectively.

Rosemary Mint - antibacterial and invigerating

Rosewood - Analgesic (mild), antibacterial, antidepressant, antifungal, anti-infectious, anti-microbial, antiseptic, deodorant.

Unscented

Vanilla - no health benefit but very pleasing to your senses.

Wintergreen

Ylang Ylang - Antidepressant, anti-infectious, anttiseptic, calmative, sedative (nervous).

If there is one you want not listed I will try to create it. Keep in mind that I use only essential oils. Please specify when ordering which base, thickener (lethicen or vegetable emulsifying wax) and scent you want. If your are allergic or intolerant to an ingredient I will custom make a lotion for you.

While these lotions may benefit your skin they do not replace treatments your doctor may recommend.

Ingredients:

Apricot Kernel oil is especially good for dehydrated, delicate, mature or damaged skin.

Borage seed oil contains important vitamins and minerals. It is very useful in nourishing and hydrating the skin especially for maturing skin. Adds in cell regeneration

USDA Organic Cocoa Butter – A natural antioxidant and a soothing emollient that has been used for centuries in Africa as a skin care ingredient. It has been used to heal and moisturize skin that has been exposed to the elements. It also helps reduce the formation of stretch marks during pregnancy by keeping the skin supple.

USDA Organic Coconut Oil Moisturizes and protects skin/hair, Anti-fungal, Lends oxidative stability to formulations in which it is used. It has high vitamin E content.

Emu Oil It has been suggested that emu oil can reduce inflammation and redness of the skin, reduce the formation of wrinkles and restore moisture to irritated, dry skin. In addition, it is said to reduce inflammation and pain of sore muscles and joints. Studies have suggested that emu oil is anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, encourages healing, stimulates skin, hair and nail growth, has a natural SPF, is a natural emollient and moisturizer, is highly penetrating, is non-comedogenic, hypo-allergenic and prevents and diminishes scarring/stretch marks.

Evening primrose oil is exceptionally nourishing oil for the skin because it is high in in the essential fatty acid known as gamma-linolenic acid. The human body does not produce essential fatty acids such as linoleic and linolenic acids. It, therefore, is important to obtain these nutrients through diet and topical application. Essential fatty acids inhibit bacterial growth and allow our systems to defend against infection and inflammation. Evening Primrose oil is recommended for dry skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis.

Grape Seed oil is rich in vitamins, minerals, linoleic acid and other essential fatty acids. Grape Seed oil is nourishing for dry, damaged or aging skin.

Grapefruit Seed Extract acts as a natural antibacterial, antiparasitic, antifungal and antiviral inhibitor.

USDA Organic Flax seed oil is a nourishing addition to formulations intended to help treat eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, acne and aging skin. Flax seeds are a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) an Omega-3 series of essential fatty acids. Topical use of flax seed oil allows the body to absorb some of the essential fatty acids necessary for healthy cellular activity. Flax seed oil can help soften and heal skin abrasions, reduce the swelling and redness of lesions due to skin disease and improve the overall health of the skin.

USDA Organic Jojoba contains a natural anti-inflammatory called myristic acid and is useful in formulations for arthritis and rheumatism. It has a natural antioxidant affect.

Lecithin Oil. This is a natural antioxidant and emollient with an emulsifying property. The lecithin I use does not require the more detailed processing that an emulsifying wax does. It does lend an earthy mustard yellow tint to the lotions.

USDA Organic Olive oil is high in oleic acid and is a good skin cell regenerator. Olive oil attracts external moisture to the skin and still permits the skin to properly release sweat, shed dead skin and release sebum. It helps to sooth inflamed skin.

Optiphen - antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and moisturiser.

USDA Organic Shea Butter - It has the ability to moisturize and retain the elasticity of the skin while helping to protect the skin against the damaging effects of the sun while repairing cellular degeneration.

USDA Organic Sunflower oil is high in essential fatty acids. It helps to moisturize, regenerate and condition the skin. It is especially useful for mature, sensitive, dry or damaged skin.

Sweet Almond Oil. It is well suited for eczema, psoriasis and itchy, dry and inflamed skin. It is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E.

USDA Organic Tea tree essential oil has gained immense recognition as the strongest anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial essential oil. It is often used in wintertime cold formulations to keep germs from spreading. It is helpful within acne products and can help fight cold sores and heal wounds.

USDA Organic Walnut oil is high in linoleic acid and helps to regenerate tone and moisturize damaged or dry skin. Walnut oil has been reported to help prevent wrinkles. Benefits also include repairing rough, dry or sunburned skin.
