It comes with a neat rusty lid with a handle on top - perfect for your primitive, rustic or country decor.   Be green and reuse this jar to display buttons, marbles, etc. Organize your desk by putting rubber bands, paper clips, thumb tacks, etc. (Great for the collega students or those of you with home offices.)  This is an actual mayo jar and can be reused for food.  Just be sure to wash throughly with hot, soapy water and use a canning lid insert if your are going to use the the zinc lid that comes with it to display coffee, tea, etc on your kitchen counter.  This lid is not meant to be used for home canning.
